The Power Of Belief

Achievers are believers: they believe in themselves and in life.

"If you can believe, all things are possible to those who believe."
- Mark 9:23

Achievers are great dreamers (but not "airy-fairey stuff").
What dreams in life would you have, if you knew you could
not possibly fail?

What particular dream would make you happiest in fulfilling?

Firstly, have total faith: in yourself and especially in God ( a Higher Power, Supreme Being), who cares deeply about you and really BELIEVE God, Life, Your Creator will ultimately ensure the outcome that is best for you (even when things look bleak.

Here are Principles, to help get you through unchartered waters,
no more sliding down the "razor-blade of life".

Discover The Awesome Power of a Dream
A vision for the future, that will capture your entire heart and at the deepest level, your spirit and soul. Open your mind up to the awesome power of your creative imagination (the way "God "speaks" to us, through our subconscious minds, our "Godgate" or "receiving station from Superior/Infinite Intelligence", I believe).

Allow yourself the courage and freedom to even fantasise until you get a vision, a dream of what your life could one day stand for. Meditate deeply, pray, ask God, The Great Designer, what is your unique "calling in life", your purpose... and you WILL eventually get the answer, from the "still quiet voice within" (or your Higher Self).

Where do you find the vision? You could perhaps find it by looking for people who have hurts and human needs. The secret of success in business is finding a need and filling it.

So find a human problem to solve through the awesome power of a vision. God will bless you, so that you in turn can bless others, through sharing your unique gifts.
That way you are helping people, touching other lives and making a difference in the world. Try to do that through your words.
your creative imagination (the way "God "speaks" to us).

Your dream must be backed by ACTION

Achievers are dreamers and DOERS. Take small steps and you will find that one step leads to another, then the next.

"Rome was not built in a day."

Develop a 'God Consciousness'

TRUST, really trust God, the Spirit of the Universe for the successful outcome to your endeavours. It WILL happen, though not in your time-frame and according exactly to your expectations. But always remember, God's dreams are far bigger than we could ever imagine ourselves.

Create a Burning Desire

To see the dream come to fruition. Work on your motivation daily. Allow your Dream to be at the fore-front of your life, the "core of your being". It will motivate, inspire and energise you by giving you a SENSE OF PURPOSE (essential(. Only YOU have the power to kill your dream. Nothing is impossible to the person, whose vision becomes a dream and when that dream is allowed to take control over your life.

Like an obsession, but strive for balance.

Develop a Success Consciousness

That you will achieve your dream one dayIt is a positive pattern of thinking, a great attitude/mind-set to have, which will propel you down the road to success.

Think abundance and prosperity and not lack and you will draw it to yourself from the Universe.

Do not surrender to negative assumptions

Such a:."I am too old, a woman, I have no money, resources or contacts". Challenge them. Nothing is impossible to the person who has the desire to succeed.

As the proverb says, " where there is a will, there is a way".

KNOW that there is a God, a Supreme Being

It is just up to YOU to discover it, then declare it - to the world, if you want. It is your grand purpose in life and God will help you to fulfil it (as a "co-creator of and collaborator in the vision"). When you give 100% commitment and fully TRUST, God will see to it, that your CHOSEN dream comes to pass.

You would never be "given a great dream" through your IMAGINATION without your having the potential to achieve it.

Have a dynamic positive attitude to life

CHOOSE it!

That things will somehow work out for you. Be flexible in your thinking. Attitude determines your altitude and more than anything else, it is a vitally important ingredient in seeing your dreams come to fruition.

Really BELIEVE that things will work out for you

Believe in yourself with honesty and humility, not arrogance. It is not being "big-headed" saying things, like "I am unique, somebody special, I KNOW I can make a difference, some impact in this amazing and beautiful world of ours!

Doing this demands having a healthy self concept (image).

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM?

DECIDE IT, DECLARE IT, SHARE IT!

Then be happy as you travel along the journey of life, the stair-case to your great dreams.

Step Into The New Year With Intention

New Year, New Goals: Growing Into Your Most Abundant Self

A new year is not just a change in the calendar, it is an invitation.

An invitation to pause, reflect, and choose again. Growth starts from within, and the New Year is the perfect moment to realign your mindset, your habits, and your goals.

Reflect Before You Reset

Before rushing into new goals, take a moment to honour how far you have already come. Every lesson from the past year, both the wins and the challenges, played a role in shaping who you are today. Growth is not about perfection; it is about progress. Reflection helps us move forward with clarity instead of pressure.

Ask yourself:

What did last year teach you about yourself?

Which habits supported your growth?

What are you now ready to release?

Reflection creates space for intention, and intention is where abundance begins.

New Goals Start With a New Mindset

Goals are not just about what you want to do, they are about who you want to be.

An abundant life starts with abundant thinking. Instead of focusing only on outcomes, focus on becoming the kind of person who naturally attracts growth, opportunities, and peace.

This year, shift from:

“I have to” → “I choose to”

“I am not ready” → “I am learning”

“What if I fail?” → “What if I grow?”

Your mindset sets the direction. Change the way you think, and everything else begins to follow.

Set Goals That Support Your Growth

Abundant goals are aligned, not forced. They do not drain you, they energise you.

When setting goals this year, think in terms of balance and sustainability.

Focus on:

Personal growth: building confidence, discipline, or self-trust

Mental abundance: positive self-talk, gratitude, emotional awareness

Daily habits: small routines that compound over time

Purpose: doing things that feel meaningful, not just impressive

Remember, small consistent actions create big results. You do not need to change everything at once.

Progress Over Pressure

One of the biggest traps of the New Year is pressure, the idea that you must transform instantly. Real growth does not work that way. Abundance grows when you give yourself grace.

Some days you will be motivated. Other days you will simply show up. Both count.

Celebrate effort. Celebrate consistency. Celebrate choosing yourself again and again.

Step Into the Year With Intention

This year is not about becoming someone new, it is about becoming more of who you already are.

When you set goals rooted in self-awareness, purpose, and belief, you naturally move closer to abundance.

Choose intention over impulse, growth over fear, and alignment over comparison.

Look forward to a New Year filled with clarity, confidence, and goals that truly support the life you are growing into. 🌱

Happy New Year

How To Keep Every Resolution

Happy New Year.

We have all done it, we make New Year resolutions, maybe struggle to keep them for a few days, make ourselves miserable and then lapse back into our old habits.

Sure, we keep a few of these resolutions during our life but, for most, it is a losing battle.

Now there is a vital formula that can ensure that you can keep every resolution without fail.

We could all benefit from this simple procedure, the key lies in the world ‘resolution’.

When we make these promises to ourselves, we should drop the ‘re’ bit of the word and concentrate on the solution.

Consider why people make resolutions.

It is usually because there is some aspect of their life that they want to change for the better, instead of focusing on the great benefits that they will achieve, they focus on what they are giving up so, of course they fail”.

In this life you attract whatever it is that you think about the most.

If you think about negative words like giving up, stopping, doing less or changing something that you have enjoyed for years, then it is inevitable that your subconscious will rebel to ensure that it does not happen”.

So many people get results that they see as failure, there are two main reasons for this.

The first is that they try to change the habits of a lifetime overnight and the human mind and body does not work like that.

The other is that they attempt to do it alone.

The help and support of a non-judgemental and uncritical third party is crucial to a good outcome.

So many people think that setting a resolution is all that it needs.

First of all look at why you have chosen a certain resolution and to examine your commitment to the change.

Then define your strategies for creating the change with small action steps that will gradually bring you closer to your goals.

Achieving solutions begins with setting them correctly and then having support to make them happen in a timescale that the body and mind can and will accept.

New Year solutions are great if they get you thinking about your life.

Remember, you can start work on a new solution at any time.

The power of the personal change is just too good to be limited to the first few days of the year and it really is possible to keep every resolution without fail”.

Planning The Next Chapter

We always approach a new year with anticipation, excitement and hope, setting out our plans and goals, detemined that this is the year we will succeed.

Only to find that within a few weeks the plans, goals and excitement have been forgotten as daily life takes over.

But, it does not have to be this way.

If we remember, that instead of looking at as just goal setting for another year, but planning and writing the next chapter in our book of life.

When setting out the chapter we should include these important steps.

• Happiness
May the new year be filled with endless
joy and laughter, together with the ones that you love,

• Abundance
May 2025 be the year where all of your hopes and dreams materialise.

• Prosperity
May you achieve the success and financial independence that you desire in all aspects of your life

• Fulfilment
To do what you are truly passionate about is the greatest blessing of all.

So, once you have written down your plan and goals for the next chapter in your book of life, keep them where you can read them everyday, include them in your daily meditation and to emphasise your plan even more by building a vision board.

And, if you find yourself wavering during the year, do not give up, you have not failed.

You just need to rekindle the excitement and anticipation that you felt when you first created the chapter, then pick yourself up and move forward again.

Have fun planning the steps to achieving and maintaining all of your 2025 goals.

Let The Inner You Out

Finally a New Post!

Do you ever find yourself wonderiing if you will ever acheive the life you really want for yourself?

Well, you are not finished yet striving to become the person you really want to be.

Deep in your inner core, you are whole and complete.

You are who you are, and who you are is PERFECT.

Unfortunately over the years, due to the influence of family, friends, and society at large, the real you has become buried.

Beneath a few layers of values, beliefs and falsehood covering up the true you.....

There is a YOU inside that is crying to come out.

It may take some work to peel away the layers, but once you reach the inner core, you will reveal your authentic brilliance that burns to express itself.

Here are ways you can start that process today:

Start meditating daily.
Take at least ten minutes a day to sit
down, and focus on your breath.

In the stillness you will be able to hear the
subtle hints and influence of your deepest  pull and preferences.

Imagine every detail of your
ideal life,
Your ideal job, the car you would drive, your dream house and who you would spend your time with.

This  might not be exactly what your ideal life looks like, but it is a step in the
right direction.

Take action.
Based on the results of step #2, take
another step towards your ideal life.

Learn a new language, go to a new
restaurant, read a different type of book.

Start to become the "you" that you want to be.

With intention and a few well placed
steps, you will transform your life.

Remove the lid off your innermost core and reveal the real you in a relatively short amount of time.

Setting Prosperity And Abundance For 2024

As we start a new year we set new goals for the year and abundance and prosperity are always top of the list.

Abundance and prosperity is something you are born with, and yet as we grew we forgot that. Fortunately you have the power to create it in your life now.

You were born abundant. The universe is abundant. This is truth but you may have forgotten it.
As we navigate life we become programmed to see the lack in everything, rather than the abundance that is right in front of us.
It is up to you to create abundance and prosperity in your life. No one can do it for you. However, it is something we can all do and achieve.
The L aw of Attraction states that, what you focus your attention on you attract. If you are focused on lack, then lack you will receive. To manifest abundance and prosperity in your life, crowd out the “lack” thinking and replace it with thoughts of abundance and prosperity.
Your thoughts influence your feelings. From those feelings you take actions that produce results. You are the source of those results. Focusing on your inner world (thoughts) brings you faster results in your outer world.
In order to manifest abundance and prosperity, you need to magnetise it to you.
Identify and feel the abundance and prosperity already present in your life. A good way to bring those feelings in is to journal all things you have in your life already (people, things, money, career, etc.), all the opportunities you have had and all you have achieved. Feeling grateful for the abundance and prosperity already in your life rather than the lack.
Next design your vision of abundance and prosperity, get really specific. Describe it in terms of what you will experience when you have it. Use all your five senses: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, gustatory, and olfactory. Ask yourself questions like, “What will your abundant and prosperous life be like? What activities will you be doing? What will you feel like when you have it? What changes are in your life? Who is around you?”
Set your intention that your vision of abundance and prosperity will manifest.
Another aspect to manifestation is the Law of Allowing. Knowing that what you are magnetising will manifest in your life. You must trust that you will create it and allow it to happen when it is appropriate for you. Some find this challenging, so stay focused on the abundance and prosperity already in your life. Regular meditations and reflection on your vision keeps you focused on what you want.
Here is a recap on the steps to magnetise and manifest abundance and prosperity in your life:
1. Feel the feelings of abundance and prosperity already in your life
2. Design your vision of abundance and prosperity
3. Set the intention that you will manifest your vision
4. Trust that it will happen
Pay attention to changes in your life. Maybe things will not manifest exactly as you expect, but the essence of what you are magnetising does manifest.
A belated happy new year.

The Strain Of Relationships at Christmas

Posts have been very sparse this year, now is the perfect time to rectify that.

As we come to another festive season, the media and Christmas cards paint a blissful image of excited children waiting for father Christmas to bring their presents, togetherness, happiness, laughter, tables laden with food, family and friends but for so many people especially Christmas 2023 that is far from the truth.

Christmas is for many expensive, overwhelming, stressful and a time of dread. The frantic rush of presents and food to be bought, family gatherings to be arranged. It is therefore a time when relationships are fraught and foremost on their minds.

However, for some, it is a time of deception, when the printed words of peace and love are in direct opposition to what they really feel inside.

And for others the Christmas period, especially Christmas day is a time of tears, sadness and loneliness as all they have to look forward to are memories of days filled with love, laughter, happiness, family and friends long gone.

At this time of year, any relationships that are under strain may totally split asunder. As families gather together old animosities and rivalries can bubble to the surface. The mature approach is to just let them go, but it is not easy. It takes two people to have a disagreement. If one of them (you) decides that life is too short and makes a personal commitment to let the real happiness and peace that is Christmas become a reality, then there is no argument to be had. There is no point in winning a series of battles if you can simply end the war. All it achieves is ruin the Christmas festivities for everyone else around you.

Now is the time to be bold and review the relationships at home, work, and in a social environment, to create a strategy for repairing any relationships that are suspect and terminating those that are beyond repair. It takes inner strength to make the decisions and the commitment. Even small achievements can create the motivation. If you use your energy to perpetuate a feeling of grudge, envy or hurt, then you are using energy that could, and should be directed to more positive things, like building yourself the life that you truly desire”.

When repairing relationships there is no blame, no right or wrong. There is simply an outcome or result that arises from an action. If you can learn the actions that create harmony and peace, then the joy of Christmas really will, as the cards say, stay with you throughout the rest of the year. If you want to change somebody else the only place you can begin is with changing yourself. And, the only time you can start is right now.

Wishing you all a happy, harmonious festive season

The Promise Of Easter

 It has been a while!

This is great time of the year to look back at those New Year resolutions, to review progress and to take any corrective action needed.

The changing of the seasons can affect our feelings and attitudes.

The chances are, that you made those January resolutions in the midst of a cold, grey and wet winter, that probably made your emotions and optimism pretty cold, grey and wet too.”

But, when the natural world is bursting with the promise of a glorious spring and the warmth of summer, this is an ideal time to decide that you too will start over and put right anything that you feel needs correction in your own life.

Unless humans interfere with nature, it has its own graceful balance.

The old and used makes way for the new and the vibrant.

Anyone can do the same with their own thoughts and attitudes.

Perhaps those fondly held beliefs that served you well in the past are due for an overhaul. s it is time to restore your own natural balance.

Balance means harmony rather than discord.

This should include a brief but thorough examination of all the areas of your life, relationships, career, health, finances, leisure and talents.

You would have to be a very cold individual indeed, to totally ignore the promise of Easter.

So take some of that promise for yourself and then make sure it is a promise that is delivered.

You deserve nothing less.

Happy Easter!

Countdown To A New Year

The count down to a shiny new year has begun.

Now is the time to start setting your goals for next year.

Set out a two step plan to achieve them.

When you believe...,

Then you can achieve.

This is a new beginning.

Are you ready?

The first step

Perform the Focus of Intent Exercise

Take a pen and paper and write down exactly what you want to achieve, create a vision board if it will help..

But at the same time think about what you are grateful for.

The second step

Meditate on your goals everyday.

Only focus on one goal until you achieve it.

Start small with realistic and achievable goals.

This may seem very simplistic, but it is the key to manifesting your desires.

There are of course extra things that you can do to make your goals more effective.

But this is the basis of all manifesting systems from the beginning of time.

Wishing you a happy, healthy, succesful New Year.

Gratitude

In America, besides sharing time with family and friends over food, the primary ingredient of the Thanksgiving holiday is gratitude. While it is certainly good to have an annual holiday to remind us to express gratitude, there is much to be said for the benefits of cultivating the spirit of thankfulness year-round.

People who are thankful for what they have are better able to cope with stress, have more positive emotions, and are better able to reach their goals. Scientists have even noted that gratitude is associated with improved health.
Published in the Harvard Mental Health Letter, "expressing thanks may be one of the simplest ways to feel better:"
The word gratitude is derived from the Latin word gratia, which means grace, graciousness, or gratefulness (depending on the context). In some ways gratitude encompasses all of these meanings. Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what an individual receives, whether tangible or intangible.
With gratitude, people acknowledge the goodness in their lives. In the process, people usually recognize that the source of that goodness lies at least partially outside themselves.
As a result, gratitude also helps people connect to something larger than themselves as individuals, whether to other people, nature, or a higher power.
People feel and express gratitude in multiple ways. They can apply it to the past (retrieving positive memories and being thankful for elements of childhood or past blessings), the present (not taking good fortune for granted as it comes), and the future (maintaining a hopeful and optimistic attitude).
Regardless of the inherent or current level of someone's gratitude, it is a quality that individuals can successfully cultivate further."
One way to harness the positive power of gratitude is to keep a gratitude journal or list, where you actively write down exactly what you are grateful for each day. In one study people who kept a gratitude journal reported exercising more, and they had fewer visits to the doctor compared to those who focused on sources of aggravation.
Studies have shown that gratitude can produce a number of measurable effects on a number of systems in your body.

Ways to Cultivate Gratitude

Cultivating a sense of gratitude will help you refocus your attention toward what is good and right in your life, rather than dwelling on the negatives and all the things you may feel are lacking.
And, like a muscle, this mental state can be strengthened with practice. Besides keeping a daily gratitude journal, other ways to cultivate a sense of gratitude include:
  • Write thank you notes: Whether in response to a gift or kind act, or simply as a show of gratitude for someone being in your life, getting into the habit of writing thank you letters can help you express gratitude in addition to simply feeling it inside.
  • Count your blessings: Once a week, reflect on events for which you are grateful, and write them down. As you do, feel the sensations of happiness and thankfulness you felt at the time it happened, going over it again in your mind.
  • Pray: Expressing thanks during your prayers is another way to cultivate gratitude.
  • Mindfulness Meditation: Practicing "mindfulness" means that you are actively paying attention to the moment you are in right now. A mantra is sometimes used to help maintain focus, but you can also focus on something that you are grateful for, such as a pleasant smell, a cool breeze, or a lovely memory.

Previous research has shown that employees whose managers say "thank you" feel greater motivation at work, and work harder than peers who do not hear those "magic words. Being on the receiving end of a person's gratitude can boost a subjects' sense of self-worth and/or self-efficacy. It also appears to encourage participants to further help the person who offered the gratitude but also another, unrelated person in an unconscious 'pay it forward' kind of connection."

Cultivating an Attitude of Gratitude as Part of a Healthy Lifestyle

Starting each day by thinking of all the things you have to be thankful for is one way to put your mind on the right track. Also, remember that your future depends largely on the thoughts you think today. So each moment of every day is an opportunity to turn your thinking around, thereby helping or hindering your ability to think and feel more positive in the very next moment.
Most experts agree that there are no shortcuts to happiness. Even generally happy people do not experience joy 24 hours a day. But a happy person can have a bad day and still find pleasure in the small things in life.
Be thankful for what you have. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, remember the 1,000 reasons you have to smile. Face your past without regret; prepare for the future without fear; focus on whati s good right now, in the present moment, and practice gratitude. Remember to say "thank you",to yourself, the Universe, and others. It is wonderful to see a person smile, and even more wonderful knowing that you are the reason behind it.

                            Happy Thanksgiving!

Healing Emotional Pain

Apologies for no posts for a while......
The aftermath of the Covid pandemic and lockdown has left so many people trying to cope with emotional pain in a fast changing world.
Emotional pain often exacts a greater toll on your quality of life than physical pain. The stress and negative emotions associated with any trying event can even lead to physical pain and disease.
In fact, emotional stress is linked to health problems including chronic inflammation, lowered immune function, increased blood pressure, altered brain chemistry, increased tumor growth and more.
Of course, emotional pain can be so severe that it interferes with your ability to enjoy life and, in extreme cases, may even make you question whether your life is worth living.
Healing Emotional Pain
Let Go of Rejection
Rejection actually activates the same pathways in your brain as physical pain, which is one reason why it hurts so much. The feeling of rejection toys with your innate need to belong, and is so distressing that it interferes with your ability to think, recall memories and make decisions. The sooner you let go of painful rejections, the better off your mental health will be.
 Avoid Brooding
When you brood, over a past hurt, the memories you replay in your mind only become increasingly distressing and cause more anger, without providing any new insights. In other words, while reflecting on a painful event can help you to reach an understanding or closure about it, ruminating simply increases your stress levels, and can actually be addictive.
Brooding on a stressful incident can also increase your levels C-active protein, a marker of inflammation in your body linked to cardiovascular disease.1
Turn Failure Into Something Positive
If you allow yourself to feel helpless after a failure, or blame it on your lack of ability or bad luck, it is likely to lower your self-esteem. Blaming a failure on specific factors within your control, such as planning and execution, is likely to be less damaging, but even better is focusing on ways you can improve and be better informed or prepared so you can succeed next time (and try again, so there is a next time).
Make Sure Guilt Remains a Useful Emotion
Guilt can be beneficial in that it can stop you from doing something that may harm another person (making it a strong "relationship protector"). But guilt that lingers or is excessive can impair your ability to focus and enjoy life.
If you still feel guilty after apologising for a wrongdoing, be sure you have expressed empathy toward them and conveyed that you understand how your actions impacted them. This will likely lead to authentic forgiveness and relief of your guilty feelings.
Use Self-Affirmations if You Have Low Self-Esteem
While positive affirmations are excellent tools for emotional health, if they fall outside the boundaries of your beliefs, they may be ineffective. This may be the case for people with low self-esteem, for whom self-affirmations may be more useful. Self-affirmations, such as “I have a great work ethic,” can help to reinforce positive qualities you believe you have, as can making a list of your best qualities.
Emotional Healing

Many, if not most, people carry emotional scars, traumas that can adversely affect your health and quality of life. Using techniques like energy psychology, you can correct the emotional short-circuiting that contributes to your chronic emotional pain. Such a technique for this is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)(http://eft.mercola.com/), which is the most comprehensive and most popular version of energy psychology. EFT is a form of psychological acupressure based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over 5,000 years, but without the invasiveness of needles.
Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to transfer kinetic energy onto specific meridians on your head and chest while you think about your specific problem, whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain or anxiety- and voice positive affirmations.
Ongoing Care
Just as eating healthy, exercising and getting a good night’s sleep are habits that must be held in the long run to be effective, your emotional health requires ongoing care as well. And, just like your physical body, your mind can only take so much stress before it breaks down. Yet many neglect to tend to their emotional health with the same devotion they give to their physical well-being. This is a mistake, but one that is easily remedied with the following tips for emotional nurturing.
Be an Optimist
Looking on the bright side increases your ability to experience happiness in your day-to-day life while helping you cope more effectively with stress.
 Have Hope
Having hope allows you to see the light at the end of the tunnel, helping you push through even dark, challenging times. Accomplishing goals, even small ones, can help you to build your level of hope.
 Accept Yourself
Self-deprecating remarks and thoughts will shroud your mind with negativity and foster increased levels of stress. Seek out and embrace the positive traits of yourself and your life, and avoid measuring your own worth by comparing yourself to those around you.
Stay Connected
Having loving and supportive relationships helps you feel connected, accepted and promotes a more positive mood. Intimate relationships help meet your emotional needs, so make it a point to reach out to others to develop and nurture these relationships in your life.
Express Gratitude
People who are thankful for what they have are better able to cope with stress, have more positive emotions, and are better able to reach their goals. The best way to harness the positive power of gratitude is to keep a gratitude journal or list, where you actively write down exactly what you are grateful for each day. Doing so has been linked to happier moods, greater optimism and even better physical health.
 Find Your Purpose and Meaning
When you have a purpose or goal that you are striving for, your life will take on a new meaning that supports your mental well-being. If you are not sure what your purpose is, explore your natural talents and interests to help find it, and also consider your role in intimate relationships and ability to grow spiritually.
 Master Your Environment
When you have mastery over your environment, you have learned how to best modify your unique circumstances for the most emotional balance, which leads to feelings of pride and success. Mastery entails using skills such as time management and prioritisation along with believing in your ability to handle whatever life throws your way.
Exercise Regularly
Exercise boosts levels of health-promoting neurochemicals like serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, which may help buffer some of the effects of stress and also relieve some symptoms of depression. Rather than viewing exercise as a medical tool to lose weight, prevent disease, and live longer, (all benefits that occur in the future), try viewing exercise as a daily tool to immediately enhance your frame of mind, reduce stress and feel happier.
Practice Mindfulness
Practicing mindfulness means that you are actively paying attention to the moment you are in right now. Rather than letting your mind wander, when you are mindful you are living in the moment and letting distracting or negative thoughts pass through your mind without getting caught up in their emotional implications. Mindfulness can help you reduce stress for increased well-being as well as achieving focus.
It is a mistake to view your emotional health as a separate entity from your physical health, as the two are intricately connected. You will have an easier time bouncing back from emotional setbacks when you are physically well, and healthy habits will also help keep your mood elevated naturally in the midst of stress. Happy people tend to be healthy people, and vice versa.
Meditation
Last but by no means least, it is important to not overlook the healing power that meditation has on emotional pain. Meditationdeeply focuses one’s mind for a period of time. This can be done in silence or with the help of chanting or music which evokes relaxation in the body and  a feeling of peace to an emotionally stressed mind.

In our modern, hectic world, meditation has gained traction in recent years as a way to manage stress. Scientific evidence has also emerged that shows meditation can be a helpful tool in fighting chronic illnesses, including depression, heart disease, and chronic pain.

All it takes is twenty minutes a day out of our busy schedules, to to benefit from the healing power of meditation.
